Lowther Fine Furniture launches The Driving Seat at Design Interiors 2008

Lowther Fine Furniture will be launching 'The Driving Seat' at Design Interiors 2008 at the NEC on 20-23 January. Designed and hand crafted by Matthew Rodgers, Lowther Fine Furniture's chief designer, The Driving Seat was created to complement the Aero Desk, which is also being launched at this year's Design Interiors show.
The English cherry and Indian rosewood chair has initially been created as a bespoke piece to delicately balance scale, comfort and good posture whilst retaining elements of the Aero Desk design to ensure the two pieces go together perfectly. The blue leather upholstery that completes The Driving Seat provides the final link back to the designer's previous Formula 1 career.
